It is needless to say that left parties are more organised and together than any political party in India atleast in West Bengal , Kerala and Tripura. They are becoming more aware of the fact that reform in every sector is a must otherwise they will no longer be able to exist as cohesive parties. They are now more sensible and don't talk out of the air . It is good for the country that strong parties like them are supporting Govt. when they are right and opposing when they are not right subject to discussions . Take for example , Govt wants to increase the prices of petroleum products without really giving a constructive thought whether there are other solutions or not like Reliance has increased only Rs2/- per litre for petrol w/o touching diesel . It should not be forgotten Reliance outlets are selling 2.5 times more per day than that of outlets selling PSU products .If Reliance can sustain why can't PSUs? Now that Left front have become more powerful and organised they should also take up strongly with the Govt to increase the ceiling of Senior Citizen saving Scheme and exempt the interest fom taxes .Same should be applicable for 8% Relief Bonds for the Senior Citizens only .
