unless all are fast bowlers :-) Fast bowlers can't fix the match since they take long run-up :-)

Update delay. Sometimes people think faster than the key-in operator or automated system :-)

Semi-finalists projection!
by IPL Fan on May 20, 2009 07:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Assumptions:
1) No tie break between Chennai Vs Punjab, Hyderabad Vs Bangalore
2) Current run rate is taken

Delhi & Chennai are already qualified in the semi-final

Chennai wins & Hyderabad wins - Chennai 17, Hyderabad 16, Bangalore 14 (out Punjab 14, Rajastan 13)
Chennai wins & Hyderabad loses - Chennai 17, Bangalore 16, Hyderabad 14 (out Punjab 14, Rajastan 13)
Chennai loses & Hyderabad wins - Hyderabad 16, Punjab 16, Chennai 15 (out Bangalore 14, Rajastan 13)
Chennai loses & Hyderabad loses - Bangalore 16, Punjab 16, Chennai 15 (out Hyderabad 14, Rajastan 13)

Praveen, Good thinking! Possibilities are endless :-) Can I please append an assumption in your second statement - "kings 11 wins today then chennai out man", if kings 11 wins such a way that Chennai's runrate is below B'lore and Hyd. You're right!
