in 52nd match Played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on 25 May 2008 when Kings XI Punjab was sure of Semi's birth and it was clear that Kolkata Knight Riders will not go to semi's ganguly scored 86 not out his usual style of scoring not out in irrelevant matches to boost averages.
He wasted more balls and made task difficult for others.
and MOM against weak opponents like DC & RC or in irrevelant match? hoot....

yes that is why many young player came into team when paw bhaji's and sambar bada's were indian captain before ganguli and dhoni.

yes right he does not deserve a place because he made highest run for india in last two years before he was forced to retire.
Shahrukh Khan is most hated person in Bengal and will be soon all over the India.
SRK went against Indian players quite a few times now. Last year he sent back 6 Bengali players to cut the cost but kept non performing Ppakistani players in team. Everyone knows his affection for Paakistani and Bangladeshi players now. He is paying maximum amount to those guys.
This year again he removed Kolkata from the KKR wordings and then removed Ganguly from the captaincy. Ganguly is much experienced as captain than McCullum. McCullum failed to get opportunity in his own country but SRK gave his that chance in absence of Shoaib Akhtar. Next year Shoaib may lead KKR team with SRK.
If Shahrukh Khan is upset with Ganguly and Kolkata then why his movies should be shown in West Bengal? Why last year he was requesting Ganguly to talk to Basu for tax exemptions. Shahrukh Khan is fooling whole India in the same way but Bengali people has seen his true colors in last 2 years.
I can say this confidently because I witnessed many KKR matches last year and seen change of behavior from SRK when they started loosing.
I know its not a charity but asking former Indian captain to play under someone else when team belongs to captains own city is not digestible.
Also, someone comment, SRK choose Kolkata but he got it as a part of draw.
And buying IPL team is no big deal, you must be knowing Ganguly was about to buy KKR and Sachin Mumbai Indians but BCCI objected as they were part of Indian team.

Let's not get emotional over Sourav losing out to Mcclum. Coach has a plan and it has the Kiwi at the centre. SRK as owner of KKR is absolutely right in giving full powers to the coach. Thank god there was no backseat driving. Now watch for performance. Sourav is a gentleman. He will give his best.

UPA cannot provide security to 11 players then how can they provide security to 100 crore people. Lives are very cheap for UPA Congress-UPA is solely responsible for the BCCI's decision to shift the IPL out of the country Has India become so unsecured like Pakistab that a domestic tournament has to go abroad? The whole country is disturbed with this move sending wrong signals about India's security condition, We used to hear about security threats to sporting events in Pakistan, but now this is happening in India. With the blessings of UPA/congress After this, how will India we respond to foreign teams who will travel to the country and how will we convince the tourists and players that India is secured for the Delhi Commonwealth Games?

yes better then any bengali, dada for us is a average player cant deal with short pitch only offside no leg side, cant field, batting id exposed when against better bowlers, only bangladesh and kenya knows how better he can play!!!!!

Ganguly was the highest scorer for KKR last year, scored over 7000 test runs and 10000 ODI runs.
