Sachin Pls Retire
by OMIPL on May 08, 2009 11:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Sachin pls retire from IPL and do not play these Stupid matches with the useless MI team. If you want to still play cricket concentrate on ODI's and Test Matches.

Do not loose your image in IPL

Interesting comment.. i have seen some of the players being de-spirited because of the long tournament format.. yuvi, Sachin, duminy to name a few. Only retired players seem to be enjoying this tournament.

Looks like this format will not survive next year itself - IPL will have to change their format.. otherwise, its going to be crazy to play so many matches and sustain interest..

We may see some of the stars opting out of this league next year, unless format is changed. may be two groups 4 teams each playing each other twice, with super 4 proceeding to next round and followed by final. That might finish the tournament faster and keep interest

It should perhaps be RP Singh instead of Praveen or Ishant.

Perfect, except Ishant can go. He is totally usless with bat. RP singh or the new man Amit Singh (7 wickets in only two matches for 28 runs). Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja are both very useful with bat and ball. Seriously, with any team Shane Warne can work magic especially in controlling runs - make him non playing captain or coach.

the table
by Khadir on May 08, 2009 01:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the table does'nt represent the correct ranking.
5 win out of 9 matches (CSK) is shown better than 5 win out of 7 matches(DD).
The system to be changed
