Not Warner.... Please....
by StraightWord on May 12, 2009 05:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Yesterday I got a news that IF Virendra Shewag comes in, then Warner should be rested...

But I feel Warner & Viru should open and Gambhir should come in 1st down... They can make R.Bhatia sit instead Warner...

What do u think...???

hey learn the fundamentals.Bhatia can leave place for Sehwag.
Bhatia cannot replace Warner.
Warner is a foreign player , so he can be replaced by only some foreign player..

With eight points from their 10 games Bangalore are just two points away from a semi-final place. Rediff, before writing something, check it. Bangalore is not 2 points away from semi-final place...Dont write rubbish

Sachin Tendulkar's Deliberate Bad Form
by Amey Kelkar on May 12, 2009 02:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think Sachin Tendulkar is on purpose is playing badly as he did not want to be selected for the ICC T20 World Cup. Before the selection of the team he started deliberately to drop his form!

ya he knows wat he is,,, i don think he never fails in any full series,,,, he is only batsman who not lost his form for long time like sehawag dravid ganguli or any other cricketer,, still india depends on tendulkar and dravi and laxman in test matches,, i hope you remember sachin played awesome innings against austrail in onday series last yer and india wonthe series for first time in australia....he don wann play 20 20 but he got the capacity to prove how legend he is,,, you must watch ipl 2 .. mi vs KKR... how he smashed all the bowlers,,, he is always great,,,

why not to add sehwag in place of manhas - and not to replace Warner. And intermittently replace Nannes with Mcgrath?

IPL is glamour, not cricket - good entertainment nevertheless
by Moral Brigade on May 12, 2009 09:30 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Come on you people who judge players on their IPL performance and shout about Hayden,Raina,Yusuf Pathan etc. and bash Sachin - please educate yourself about cricket.
Cricket is not the IPL matches where you swing or miss, where undressed women dance to please the crowd, where actresses come to 'cheer' their teams with plastic smiles, where mediocre players like Dhoni,Raina etc. hit fifties/hundreds and give an illusion that they can do the same in tests/ODIs.Players like Raina,Yusuf Pathan are not able to get a place in the ODI team let alone in Tests. This IPL is a timepass and treat it like one,DO NOT judge a player's calibre based on IPL you fools.

IPL is good entertainment nevertheless.

Raina is defntly a good quality player...Sachin sucks big time when it comes to match winning performances...u need to play match winning knocks not just add 50s and 100s for the record books....
