It is the beginning of the end for Fab4
by S Shrikanth on Oct 07, 2008 08:41 PM  Permalink

Actually, remain 3 and Kumble too call it a day on the last day of this series.

This is the weakest Australian team touring India and Team India has high chances of winning the series. If all 5 retire on the same day with a winning note, it will be a unique day.

I wish that Ganguly leaves the international scene in a blaze of glory. He deserves it and maybe more.

Just like they are ungrateful to the sacrifce of M C Sharma who laid down his life for the country.. how can they acknowledge Bengal tiger!!!

The media is controlled by underworld who put pressure on Ganguly by sending threat to kidnapping of his daughter!!!

Shameful Indians!!! shameful BCCI lobby !!!!!

Bengal tiger is alegend who changed the face of Indian cricket!!!!!!!!

by Akshay Singh on Oct 07, 2008 08:29 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

You know the difference between saurav and sachin?
In life some people retire and some fired..and
saurav is the example of first kind of people and sachin is second.

Sachin is 2 yrs younger than saurav. He still ahs time & cricket left in him. So may be after 2 yrs. he will also get the same deal like what Saurav got today.

When Gangu has retired only bongs are sorry.
When Dravid will retire only Kannus will be sorry.
When Sachin retires only ghaatiis will be sorry.
When Kumble retires, only Kannus will be sorry.
But rest of India will be very happy.

Very nicely elaborated.

If all 5 retire, the whole country will be happy.

Well no one misses them as we no longer need to win as we are getting paid enough. Yuvi is busy chasing skirts, Dhoni trying to set his hair. We dont need any more role models as we have enough of them.

By announcing retirement
by bondosco on Oct 07, 2008 08:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

By announcing his retirement before test matches he has made sure that he plays all the four tests.Otherwise he would have been dropped after the 2nd test.Though I wish him success I dont think he will do anything remarkable

DADA's Retirement
by Thiyagarajan Iyer on Oct 07, 2008 08:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Saurav is one of the best left handed batsmen the world of cricket has ever seen With his silken grace he is the GOD of off side and his strokes through square cuts , off drives are treat to watch for purists like me His class is permanent although he had a poor series in Sri Lanka Why ! All the fab 4 had below par performance Then that is cricket with its glorious uncertainities The selectors especially Kiran More ( a sub standard batsman and terrible wicket keeper with oily and slippery hands even with gloves on) and Vengsarkar ( a slow starter and always prone for loose shots and lucky survivor) were squarely responsible for the poor treatment being meted out to our five senior cricketers especially DADA . Before singling out Saurav , Greg Chappel the worst coach ever , had forgotten his successive six single digit scores of 0, 1, 0,2,0,1and 1 in test matches

It is time that BCCI change its attitude towards senior cricketers who deserve to be treated with respect

by Akshay Singh on Oct 07, 2008 08:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This article title surprise me.
It says Beginning of the end of Fab Four.
But inside the article the things are presented like how to kick out Worst four from the indian cricket.
