well uthappa has some xperience in the international level and can be a match winner...he grabbed most of his opportunities but had bad series down under...u can't drop a player for one bad series altho that was wat was done wid Rahul :(...and yeah ur rite abt the wicketkeepers...dhoni already has an injured finger!

UTTAPPA IS USELESS!!!!!!! LOOK HIS PERFORMANCE IN IPL. HE IS JUST PINCH HITTER. COLSE THE EYES AND HIT THE BALL
This is not the right time to announce the team. It will greatly affect the mental skill of non-selected players those who are still playing in IPL. They would have announced after the IPL final. Take the case of Gony, Balaji, Parthiv in CSK and Abhishek Nayar, Badrinath, yomahesh Asnodkar, Jadeja, Dinda, Rawat, Chitnis, Takwale.. etc

it seems that u r not following up our cricket team closely. the same questions were raised during Aus tour. but the results proved otherwise.
The selectors are old farts who dont know anything. How could they ignore Manpreet Gony. With a little more training, he could be India's strike bowler. And why praveen kumer?? Why not Dhawan and Nayar??
Robin Uthappa is lucky to get in.He is getting too cute in his batting.His temperament is questionable.Dinesh Karthik would be a better choice as he has come out of his form slump.Gony is better than R.P.Singh He shd have been tried out.Yuvraj is lucky.He bats once in 10 innings.Praveen Kumar's economy rate is bad.His attitude needs a change.Dinda would be better.Has pace.Ojha is lucky and Amit Mishra is unlucky.

Which current form? IPL? Then why do you think Uthappa, Yuvi, RP Singh, Irfan Pathan were given preference over Asnodkar, Gony, Badri, Dinda, Yomahesh, Jadeja?
And if it is a young team what is Sehwag doing in there?.. :-)

That's why I asked it Hari... You made two mistakes... a) admitted that he is 36 still playing... b) said he is unfit .. which you will regret presently...
a) So Sehwag should play for at least 6 more years not 4 (I know why you said 4... coz Sachin is 34... you want Sehwag to retire at exactly the age you are demanding Sachin to get lost).. b) Hayden is unfit... but he'll soon return to the Aussie team... so should Sachin, after he's fit..
Think about Batting line up Gambhir,Sehwag opening followed by Yusuf Pathan, if any of the openers out within 20 overs of Power play.then Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj,Dhoni,Raina/Uthappa,irfan Pathan,Praveen,Chawla/Ojha Ishant Sharma, Sreesanth/R.P.singh doesnt it look like a good team. But i feel M.S.Gony, S.K.Trivedi ( Who bowls beautiful disguising slow bowls)Badrinath, Venugopal Rao, Manoj Tewary,Shikar Dhawan,L.R.Shukla,Parthiv, Virat Kohli, P.Sangwan,(Though no so good 20-20 for both of them) Asnodkar, Rajat Bhatia have shown that they have sufficient talent.

dude we can select only 15 members and only 11 members can play at a time.
I think selectors might have selected YO MAHESH instead of R P SINGH who has been expensive in this edition of IPL despite taking 15 wickets.I think YO MAHESH might have selected in place of R P SINGH.
20-20 is a game for "chhote"s(smalls). Chhote ground, chhote overs, cheerleaders ka chhote kapre.....Sachin, Dravid, Dada iye saare bade hain.......Dhoni chhote log hain...Us liye hi Deepika usko chhod ke chali gayi......Big people like Dada, Sachin, Dravid should not be in that "small" Dhoni's team....that too against "chhote" Bangladesh....

Hi Karan, Don't be harsh on sachin. let us respect his contribution to indian cricket. Today, only two players are recognised as "Gifted players" for indian criket. They are Sachin and Kumble. any way the team selection is not so good. They shoud have dropped yusuf,utappa,sreesanth,praveen kumar & irfan pathan. In their place, they could have included Shikar Dawan, Vinay kumar, Nair & badrinath. what do u say?

Underachievers in life, learn to respect people who have earned such glorifies through their supreme effort, talent and behaviour. You must feel ashamed for using words such as kicked out for a Sachin. He is the same guy who joined the team in the world cup soon after his father's demise. You can not doubt his commitment.
Omission of Manpreetsingh GONY, Abisekh Nayar and Yomahesh is not at all acceptable. They have done marveslously than PraveenKumarand Robin Utthappa. Always performance must be the criteria for selction.
