Drop Jaffer and include Harbhajan in his place. Open with Dravid and Sehwag. As Sehwag can score at a brisk rate Dravid need not worry about pushing the scoring rate and comfortably settle down in his groove.
With 3 stars (Saurav, Dravid,& Laxman) not selected, they must be seeting with anger and would like to prove a point. SO they will not throw their wickets away and do all the best they can give in their last appearence in Australia. And 2 or the 3 in good form and Dravid is not doing badly either.
As Kumble, Harbhajan can bat a little India will not be losing a batsman!
With 5 bowlers go the whole hog against the Australians! As AUssies are well prepared you need 5 bowlers to bowl them out twice! And Adelaide is no Perth for the pacers doing another miracle. Ponting & Co have already would have sorted out to a large extent Ishant and RP SIngh. SO you need Harbhajan. Exclude him only at your Peril!
If Kumble is really hungry for a win go with 5 bowlers. Do not play extra safe as you did in Bangalore!

Opening with dravid will land the team in more troubles.better to drop ishant sharma even if it is a tough decision.for a bowler one shd not leave a batsman.already our batsman r consistent in inconsistency.high time to think on this.At adelaide no need for 3 pacers.if a third seamer is needed ganguly can be used.that is not a bad option.Adelaide is as gud as a chennai wicket friends.no need for 3 pacers.absolutely no need.

by jove!!....for d 1st time these selectors hv selected a right team.. all ppl need to undrstand tht d game is nt played on emotions...its nt abt dada has served india..so he shud b in d team...no it shudn't b so!! this is a highly professional world...so we can't afford to take players in d team who r nt fit!!..... i'm damn sure tht this team will play really well.... kudos to vengi & company!!

Dada is the great. Great one missing in selection by the selectors means Dhony and yuvi can do nothing,simply they shaw themselves, good for nothing,I don;t think so Dhony can lead India to win the match rather i have seen him India to defeat, What Yuvi can do,nothing more than showie. India need a brave batsman like Ganguly the super cricketer and key one to lead India To VICTORY.
We should not forget about future.S. Badrinath,Suresh Raina, Manoj Tiwary, Yousuf Pathan and Parveen Kumar. They are doing execillent performance in domestic circuit. If we are not giving them chance at international Level. Is it a punishment for them. S. Gauguly, R Dravid, VVS Laxman & S. Tendulkar they r playing last 15 years. But they are not young now. All are around 35.After who will fill the vaccum. So we must the chance to youngster.

exactly. If we don't try the youngsters now, when will we try them. If these guys fail (Raina, Sharma etc.) then Parthiv Patel, Kaif, Pujara, Badrinath, Y. Pathan, M. Tiwary can be tried. If everyone fails, the seniors can be brought back for some more time. But induction of new blood has to begin otherwise without any backup, we will finish as a cricketing nation when these seniors retire.

its nt abt being 35...its abt being fit!! look at aussies..hayden is 35..& he's supremely fit!!...bt ganguly is js too pathetic in the field..so axed!!....dravid is js too slow....so axed....laxman is nt a gd fielder...& an average bat in d ODIs...soo axed!!...bt talk abt sachin...he's fit for his age...& has scored consistently...cn bowl also...tries to give his 100% on d field....runs well btwn d wickets..so he remains in d team...bt cant take his place for granted!!

There are so many extreamly fit youngsters in Akharaas. But unfortunately they can not bat like heyden.
tendiya,vengy, dhoni and yuvraj--why point fingers at others: tendiya's propensity for mischief is tremendous--with chamchas like dhoni/yuvraj singing to his tunes(he can play as long as he wants--VENGY) he will play till he drops dead.
