It doesnt matters what record a player has against an opposition, what that matters is the current form of the player. Sourav has a very poor record against the aussies. But that doesnt mean that he cant score against them now.He is in good touch now. He played with great comfort against quality attacks under pressure at a good strike rate recently. The recent pakistan test series brought a huge change in his style. Now he is batting with a strike rate of around 80 to 90 even in tests. What thay would be crucial was the opening partnership between saurav and sachin. If they fires at the start of the innings as usual then it would be easy for others to carry on other wise there would be a huge disaster since the other batsmen like uthappa, dhoni, yuvraj are nor good in their technique as saurav.
Most of our youngster dont have the right technique or guts to play good pacy attack in bouncy pitches. It was very clear in the recent odi series and tests against australia. Youngsters like dhoni, yuvraj, jaffer are complete failure in the aussie pitches. Even our tail enders like pathan, kumble, harbhajan, rp singh looks more confident than them. Dhoni should understand that there is a huge difference between T20 and ODI's.

Selectors did the right thing by dropping GANGULY.His feilding is hopeless, catching in the outfeild is worst and running between the wickets is very bad.Well done selectors, keep up the good job.

You can take a horse to the water, but you can't make it drink water. Robin Singh can only try and he did say it is easier working with the younger lot.

Everybody is talking about fielding. It seems that we do not need any batsman or bowler in cricket. Why don't we try with our footballers? They are surely better fielders than any of our cricketers..... Guys, please think about it.
Ganguly & Dravid age are 35 years and the world cup 2011 his age is 38 are you statisfied to play one day game. In 35 age he take one run in place of two and miss run out chances in test match as well as one match. My point of view selector take right decision to send a young team like 20-20 world cup team.

My dear friend...its easy to point out mistakes and miss the point. I believe it's his thought that matters more than his grammar...this board isn't a school for people to start preaching others on their language skills. It's about your cricketing knowledge and I believe Mr. Som has exhibited it sufficiently.

If traitor is the one who expressess right comments ,then I do not know what to say.Just because one is Indian, you must not do false praise.India may win 1-2 maches, but they never can play in crunch matches. What was Sachin's contribution in this series???Just hitting 70's...even Harbajan did that.I think we all must be rational while talking.Let me know if there are any escorts available
Dont call him only Sachin call Him Sir Master Blaster And above all whole world want to see him and enjoy his bating, even oposite team enjoy when sir is in full swing. we should not compare Sir Sachin to any current/past/future player.Forget Ganguly & Dravid

Dravid batted as an opener and faced the new ball while facing lee and johnson ganguly played in his regular slot middle order batting is easy when the ball gets old and opening and top orderscore some runs and make a comfortable platform for middle order batsman to continue..
People are commenting on when I said that India must lose.I have the right to air my views and I do not need any permission for this.Let us accept that we are not as strong as Aus.Who in our team can face Bret Lee and who in our team can bat like Ponting.Aus will surely win and we will lose.Accept the fact and no rooms for sentiment

Nobody wants our batsmen to play like the way Ponting is doing in this series. It was pathetic to watch him struggle against a virtually new fast bowler let alone his pathetic performance against Bhajji. Definitely we don't want our batsmen to play like him.

I guess Ponting gets troubled when bowlers mix up the incoming deliveries with the straighter ones. Be it Harbhajan or Ishant. His big stride forward to the length ball sort of forces him to play or jab at the straighter ones... Would love to hear your thoughts...
