The win at Perth couldn't have come at a better time. This gives us a realistic chance to level the series. All the brouhaha by Mathew Hayden that India cannot win at Perth has been silenced. Ponting has already begun his mind games for the next test by declaring that the Oz will retain the Border - Gavaskar trophy. Kumble and his men are advised not ro fall for the trap and try their best to level the series. India are also in a position to pressurize the ICC to lift the ridiculous ban on Harbhajan. But for the ambitions of Bindra and Pawar, the whole issue could have been sorted out in India's favour. If we had stuck to our stance of boycotting the entire series, ICC would have given in to our demands.

boycotting was a good option... but playing and beating them in their own home is better option.. gud luck India for the next one... beat them down again.
chappel the real culpript who told that seniors not allowing junior players. but now the seniors have proved that they really back up the junior players
My heartiest thanks to Kumble and his boys for this stunning victory against all odds.
Our performance in this test is beyond our emagination and from the day one we are on the top of aussies.
It's the most memorable victory in indian cricket history as we have defeated the world best team in their most favourable ground claim to be the fastest in the earth.
I know that we will win the next test match and level the series.
Keep it up and best of luck for your onward journey.
I think Kumble should have been made India's test captain long back. He has admirable leadership and fighting qualities, which is required to win test matches. And most important, he conducts himself with dignity and poise. Truly a great ambassador of our Country!
