But for Bucknor we would have been 2-1 or atleast 1-1. The Aussies must thank him more than any body else for the lead

This is a real team effort, Dravid , tendulkar, sehwag, pathan , kumble all contributed by ball and bat. This victory again proved that cricket is a team game and Tendulkar or dravid or kumble can not do anything alone. well done men in blue. keep it up. area of concern - jaffar, dhoni (in batting).

Australia - World Champs
by Ariel Katz on Jan 19, 2008 03:56 PM  | Hide replies

Thanks to Billy Bowden's crooked finger and Asad Rauf, Team India manage to stop the Aussies' winning streak. Two Australian batsmen, Hussey and Symonds were not out. Where are those idiots who made a hue and cry about cricket being a gentleman's game. HAd these decisions gone against India, the umpiring issue would have been the only issue to talk about.

Australia, I hope pound the Indians in Adelaide.

This is an unfair comment. Hussey was out as per the umpire's assessment of the bounce, the same way Tendulkar and Dhoni were given out. If Hawk Eye is to be relied on then Hussey was clearly out much earlier in the innings, lbw to RP.

by Aniruddha Mukherjee on Jan 19, 2008 03:56 PM

It was gr8 to watch the battle between Ishant Sharma & Ricky.....after a long time we saw Ricky was unable to play Ishant and a fear in his face.....i liked that . but one thing that India should do, is to change their Body Language . On the 4th day it was hard to beleive the Body Language of indian players....they were very calm & quite as field...they must talk to each other frequently to keep the pressure on the other team...Dhoni , Pathan were the exceptins...
WIN INDIA WIN.....congrats India....
