dude india playin aus not bangla or pak ,take away tat one game which for the rest of ur life u guys will cry bout --- look at the trashing aus has handed ouit to india all da time ---they not world champs for nutin
It is a great victory which was influenced by certain factors Team gelling together with absolute resolve due to incidents at Sidney Captaincy of Kumble Performances of Sehwag and Pathan Seniors and Juniors performing well Subdued Aussies misreading the pitch Absence of Hayden and Hogg Indian young bowlers coming good Change of biased and tired umpires
Negatives to be addressed Poor form of Jaffer and Dhoni Inability of many seniors to play under pressure in 2nd Innings Indians panicking and running out of ideas during counter attack Tendulkar not bowling
My question is where is Sehwag's thick crop of hair. I saw him after 3-4 years this time, and he is balding. What shampoo is he using? I'll buy it for my mother-in-law !
Sorry guys this is not about the India Australia match. I appoligise. But what is rediff.com doing? I just realized that I never read rediff's reports/columns (I do this in the Times of India site and Cricinfo/Cricketnext.com site) and just scroll on to the discussion board in rediff reading and answering and chatting. If I were to be a case in point rediff is going to degenerate into a chat site with no credential of its own very shortly (if it has not happened already). To me this is bad business sense. I don't think 'hits per second' is going to carry it too far. Once again I appologise, especially being a cricket fan, just a thought I wanted to share.

Discussion borad is very etnertaining, informative and really provides good fun & knolwedge togather....
Australia v India is the Test rivalry of the decade. England popped up spectacularly in 2005 but only India have been able to match, fight and beat Australia over a sustained period. In the last 10 years, India and australia have met 21 times in Test cricket; the numbers now stand at 10-8 in Australia's favour. In the corresponding period Australia's record stands at 27-9 against England, 12-2 against Pakistan, 15-4 against South Africa and 9-1 against Sri Lanka. And India were the last team to humble Australia in a home Test.
When further on the prospect of a series whitewash against both India and Sri Lanka, Clark said: "I have just predicted 4-0 and 2-0".
This Clark who considers himself a replacement for McGrath not only for his bowling skills but also for his so called pre-series prediction declares that 4-0 whitewash could be the only possible result. And McGrath on various other articles confirms that :-)
May be these guys have to now use the paint boxes to probably whitewash their homes instead. I hope these arrogants do not talk about a crap called Whitewash against India any more after the whole world knows what has happened in the last 4 series against Australia both home and away.
In the last 14 matches the both teams have played this is how the results stand
Won by India - 5 Won by Aus - 6 Drawn - 3
How in the world a rookie like Clark who has not even played against the great Indian batsmen declares that this series will be Whitewash..
Don't dare to do this again mate and get your faces flushed out again.

Thanks jeet for providing precise stats. No wonder they were embarrassingly excited at Sydney and embarrassed themselves at Perth.
Where r the guys who after every indian win keeps saying the win is a fluke n its match fixed. Well one can understand one 20-20 match win a fluke because it is played within short time span n if one plays well u can win. But u cannot win 20-20 world cup by fluke. Certainly test match win at perth cannot be fluke . Test match is played over 5 days n u have to play well all days to win . We should appreciate

Read the statistics - Australia 16 tests in a row - which means not even a draw in between - and India won only a Test match - Can U tell when was the last time that INDIA won even 3 test matches in a row.

Yes,I can give you an example.India defeated England in 3 tests in a row in India in 1993-94.In that series Vinod Kambli and Anil Kumble played a key role. And above all guys, why should we not feel happy when India wins ? we all agree that they are a better side and that is what makes the win all the more special. In fact, not feeling proud over this victory indicates a sick mentality.

It's a shame for australia that too loosing against india. Australian's should have a sleepless night for losing against India. If they're losing against South Africa atleast they can console themselves. It's better that ponting resigns.
