Fair conditions at play !
by SS Kumar on Jan 19, 2008 05:16 PM

With this win, India has proved that if umpiring is fair ( without Buckor) and if the Australians do not brazenly cheat, it can indeed win any match. Let us go full steam and ensure a victory at Adelaide as well.

Kick all those who question India's victory
by siba mohanty on Jan 19, 2008 05:16 PM

All those who question India's victory can go and get another life. If you say bad umpiring got India the win, then think about Sachin's dismissal in the first innings too. And also the numerous genuine appeals that were turned down by Asad Rauf. Savour this victory, guys. It's time to show you are Indian and back your team. Hurray!

Series India Leading 2-1 in test series
by William Noronha on Jan 19, 2008 05:15 PM

Hi Folks If Australia & Umpires had not played the cheaters roles India is leading by 2-1 & they worthy to be the leaders for which they shown the guts and grit to be the world beaters and beating australia in their own den is a great achievement considering the bouncy and fatest pitch giving australia its own medicine to taste Hurrah India come on we can be the number one.

Good to keep composure
by krishnan on Jan 19, 2008 05:14 PM

Well Yesterday evening and today morning two lbw decisions that would have hit the stumps went in Pontings favour and the feeling of helplessness could have easily come in. You have to commend the team to keep its composure and not let the sydney experience to come back in their mind. Later they got some favourable decision in terms of Symonds (high time he gets the other side of the coin) and Hussey and it evened out.
The thing to appreciate here is that Ponting did not bring those issues out in the post match conference till now.
If sydney match had not been practically fixed by the umpires - man we could have seen a series of a lifetime. I bet Australia would have come all guns blazing in Adelade.
Congrads to India too to turn a bad series in terms of umpiring and sledging into a decent one.
