Double impact
by human on Jan 19, 2008 05:52 PM

Its definitely celebrating time for indian team particularly with all the trauma happening with their teammates. But we could come over all that bad times with vengence and lets not forget to inculcate - winning as a habit.

For next test again india needs lot more consistancy coz it is going to be the mother of all crikwars. Aus will try to make us fell double impact

victoriously fixing the match!
by LakshmiNarayanan KV on Jan 19, 2008 05:51 PM

A very well contested match that swung one way and the other till the today. There is no room for any doubt that Mr.kumble and his team have combined talent with a determined sense of purpose to put it across to the opponents in their own lair! If anything has been fixed in this match, it is the australian's sense of invincibility.
The Indian Team deserves all the praise for this outstanding display in the face of hostility(not to mention about the abysmal standards of umpiring) in an alien environment. Keep it up and level the series.

The perth test clearly shows that Australia could not win a match without umpire support.

CONGTRATS TO INDIA

HARD HITTER
RE:whats there to celebbrate
by HARD HITTER on Jan 19, 2008 05:55 PM
Thahts your opinion and it is OK. In my opinion,
1.we have defeated OZ at perth, where no team has defected them in last 10 years.
2.we have deprived OZ from making arecord 17 victory, for which OZ were very desperate.
3. India was the only team who has stopped steve waugh's team from winning 17 consecuive test and now again it is india who has repeated the feat against arrogant ponting's team.
For me this 3 events are enough to celebrate. because I am Optimisstic and look at think from optimisstic angle

Are u so sick man? India has just defeated a team whom none of the other countries have been able to in the last 16 test matches, besides this is also the team which has never lost a match in Australia since 2001 Adelaide Test against India. Isnt it good enough reason to celebrate. The celebrations are not after winning against Zimbabwe or Bangladesh. Its the invicible Aussies. I agree we have a long way to go before matching the Aussies, but cmon man, dont be so pessimistic and sick. A win is a win. And beating Aussies in Australis after such a fuss in the last match is truly great.
Just remember onething, if not for the lowest standards of umpiring in the last match(i dont blame the Aussies, since everyone plays to win), it would have India 2-1 up in this series.
So man just leave ur pessimistic approach to life behind u and njoy the win. If u cant njoy then STOP SPREADING RUBBISH. Let us njoy the great win. And u can feel sad for a Australia thrashing. Cry if u want to...hahaha
