This is what Australia is w/o sleddgin
by Venky on Jan 20, 2008 11:18 AM  | Hide replies

This loss of australia shows what is australia team with out sledging. They say sledging is part of the game (Mind game) this clearly prooves they are not the best in true cricket but best only in sledging. I am sure they will be back to sledging in the next game as they can not digest the loss.

Defeat to Rowdies
by ravindra kp on Jan 20, 2008 11:15 AM  | Hide replies

Atlast with the removal of biased umpires and the sledging being low key, the 11 Australian rowdies lost the match.

hello idiot ravindra,

What about the sledging that Andrew Symonds was subjected to by the entire crowed of spectators in Mumbai? Do you think that is gentlemanly behaviour?

I read too much of those news article that tries to prove that you are an intelligent person if you write bad about India!
Sometime I think I have lost my identity. Now I realized that that players like Symmonds exaclty need the treatment that Mumbai public had given to him.
How dare he falsely accused harbhajan of racial slur.

Ponting should have taken Kumble's message seriously on the first day itself when he chose to bat after winning the toss...Clarke said before the series that it will be a white wash
4-0 and must be hiding his face behind Ponting..
Poor Ponting for not getting the Sydney umpires as his 12th and 13th team members..Congrats to Kumble and his team

Ponting should have taken Kumble's message on the first day itself, when he won the toss and elected to bat first on the Pirth track..The 4 quickies must be having a night mare after the test..Clarke who predicted 4-0 white wash must be hiding his face...congrats Kumble and his team

yeah, its good to prove people wrong. the ist is long:
clarke
shaun tait
ponting etc etc.

the loud mouths have been silenced for once. now its upto other teams to follow suit. this aussie team isnt as great as with mcgrath and warne. in fact their central weapon now seems to be sledging, as the aussie scribes have opined by the hordes that the OZ team shouldnt play nice.

No, Billy Bowden, BCCI and Australian press played for Team India. The Australians were out of game for this match after Sydney incident. Kumble and BCCI played a superb game to manage oustanding support and sympathy for him. BCCI flexed its financial muscle very well to make Australian cricket team to run for cover. Australian press, sportpersons of other sport were long gunning for Ponting & Co for long time. So, the 10 days gap was enough to break the confidence of the world champions as Australian media unilaterally spit venom on Ponting & Co to lose the match. The body language of australian players was passive from the very first ball played in Perth. They palyed this match to lose. I do not think our team and people need to celebrate it. The transformation from Sydney was complete in Perth. Team India should also thank to umpire Billy Bowden who saved Tendulkar twice in first Innings and Dravid once. He gave out Hussey and Symonds in the second innings when they were not out. But in game of cricket, its the result that matters, rest is history.

If you think my above post does not prove that I'm pathetic then here is some more...
- didn't you noticed Australian bowlers were not trying at all. Eevn their fast bowlers were taking only 5 step run up and were bowling very slow balls?
- didn't you noticed, non- of the Australian were out? Umpire gave them out when Indian captain requested.
- didn't you noticed Australians were not fielding but were slipping on the ground?

These all proves that BCCI flex its financial muscle very well to make Australian lose.

Most of the times when india play in australia its 11 versus 12 or 13 only Mr Nelliah,India always get some rough decison,if it was not by the empires in sydeny, the score card would have been 2-1 in favour of india, instead of australia

India must give another slap to Ricky Ponting at Adelade
by Uttamkumar Samanta on Jan 20, 2008 11:01 AM  | Hide replies

India must give another slap to Ricky Ponting at Adelade.
He is the most unporting and dishonest player-captain in Australian history.
By now serious would have been 2-1 for India if Sydney test has not been taken out from
India's pocket forcefully by unsporting Aus-team and umpire-team.

He disgraced Aus team.
Aus board should sack him.

hello rashmin hathi!

This is sheer bull shit! I agree that the Sydney test was unfair for India. But does that mean that Australia won all their test matches with the help of umpires? And the way the jerks in this forum are rejoicing over just one Indian victory just shows how rare it is for India to win against Australia!
