wow!
Thanks Sameer. Clarke has a history of lying. Replay clearly shows that ball was on ground and he put his fingers around the ball.
No wonder Australia is promoting him as their next captain.

Yep, fair enough. Clarkey is a good time pony that doesn't deserve to be in the Oz team. Not because he cheats but because he's useless.

But Clarkes played twice as many tests as Dhoni. Give Dhoni time to catch up and claim a few more non catches. He'll catch up, especially with the way he doesn't walk. As you guys always say, once a cheat, always a cheat.

Congrats Team India
by Sameer K on Jan 20, 2008 11:46 AM

This was purely a team effort. This was the first lively pitch assisting fast bowlers and the Indian batsmens Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag and Pathan did well enough and the young bowlers bowled a perfect line and length with Pathan swinging like he use to earlier.

Anyways the Great One, The Choosen one as expected didnt score on the lively pitch. Scores of 9 & 0 are testimony to this fact that on lively pitches the great one still cannot score.

Australia v India is the Test rivalry of the decade. England popped up spectacularly in 2005 but only India have been able to match, fight and beat Australia over a sustained period.
In the last 10 years, India and australia have met 21 times in Test cricket; the numbers now stand at 10-8 in Australia's favour. In the corresponding period Australia's record stands at 27-9 against England, 12-2 against Pakistan, 15-4 against South Africa and 9-1 against Sri Lanka. And India were the last team to humble Australia in a home Test.

Ya sure that will be the headline, because after this humilating loss i am sure aussies will be back on their cheapest methods...just once they tried to play honestly and they get thrashed that too in the same ground where they thought they are unbeatable

hello Mr Gaurav,

Do you mean to say that they (aussies) played unfairly in every game that they won? It is very convenient to use this argument to believe that they are inferior to the indian team! I'd rather say that you are a guy who only sees what you like to see and hears what you like to hear!

Australia is a good team. Most of the time they says truth. They only lies only when they want to take wickets. As Sameer have posted please see following. It shows true character of Australians that they only lies when they have to take wickets.

I am a mathamatician. I looked at all 10 wrong decision that was made against India and did recalculation of runs and match result.
When I reversed all 10 bad decision against India, I found out that Australia still won by one run!!!
Yes this sounds like pathetic, but that it was I believe.

you cant calculate in cricket Mr Nelliah, its a game of uncertainity...u cn calculate that symonds made extra 131 runs when he was out on 30.but u cant calculate how many runs sachin or laxman would have made if they were not given out uncorrectly

May be in Azhar's group we have to include Australian team as well. I wish some one should file acase against the umpire and also against the Australian team for any match fixing scandal. I sincerely hope that they (the Australian) won so far only by crooked method like match fixing and having umpire with their side etc. So it has to be probed. One as to take effort to file a case like Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the Australian side. THen only the true Australian color will come out.

But as far as the Indians are concerned they are the Best immaterials of the Captaincy or anything. THey are the BEst like the West Indian Team. THey r the real Gentle men like our Indian Cricket team.

Most of the times when india play in australia its 11 versus 12 or 13 only,India always get some rough decison,if it was not by the empires in sydeny, the score card would have been 2-1 in favour of india, instead of australia

No execuse, they played well in 1st test, but to remind you, that has happend only once in history, and also,in the second test, sachin and dravid was again got wrong decisons in first inning and vvs laxman in 2nd inning...most of the times when auusies come to india they get spanked like a littel baby,& they will start crying about the arrangenments, but all know india provides world best service to there guests, not like aussies

Mr gaurav singh,

How many times did India spank the Aussies on Indian soil? Do you mean to say that in spite of winning the World Cup so many times Australia is a team inferior to India? Well, the line separating Patriotism and Chauvinism is getting blurred indeed! You keep harping on sledging by the aussies, but then, what about the sledging indulged in by the entire crowd in Mumbai against Andrew Symonds? Do you have an answer for this?

No i never said that australia are inferior to india, they are indeed the best team...but in oneday...in test cricket they are just may be 5% better then india...and india can fill that gap on any particular day...I am not a very big fan of australia but because of their tactics..i myself admire them that they are the best team in world, but when they are the best,y do they need to kill all the sportsman ship from game,do u have any answer for that??

Mr Gaurav singh,

I never justified the behaviour of the aussies in the Sydney test. In fact, it was outright condemnable, and shame on them to have indulged in such tactics. What I meant to say is they did not win ALL their matches this way! And there is no reason to label ourselves "Saints" and them "Sinners" because of the Sydney episode! If that were so, how do you justify the behaviour of that idiot Sreesanth against Symonds in India? And what about the monkey chants of the crowds in Mumbai?

I read too much of those news article that tries to prove that you are an intelligent person if you write bad about India!
Sometime I think I have lost my identity. Now I realized that that players like Symmonds exaclty need the treatment that Mumbai public had given to him.
How dare he falsely accused harbhajan of racial slur.

Actually I am idiot that I am talking so much but an if. As you know cricket is an unpredictable game like any other game. If players were in form and plays well compare to other team then they will sure win the match. But what happened to India in Sydney should not happen to any team. umpire gave 10 wrong decision against India and that cost the match to India. Otherwise India was a winner in that match.

India Lack the Killing Instict
by GN on Jan 20, 2008 11:20 AM

Indian team is like a Tiger without teeth and Claws.

Which can pounce on the prey, bring it down to Earth, But unable to kill it immediately.

So many times, India did cleaned up the top orders of opposition immediatly, but unable to get the tail end out and end up losing the matches.
