will australians shut their mouth from commenting?
by govindrajantr thulsi on Jan 19, 2008 09:09 PM

IT WILL BE BETTER FOR THEM NOT TO COMMENT FURTHER ABOUT INDIAN TEAM.

NOW THEY LOST THE MATCH, INDIANS WIN THE TEST, AND HEART OF AUSTRALIANS. THAT'S WHY INDIANS ARE GREAT

Perth Test
by kamal mehra on Jan 19, 2008 09:09 PM

This win is a real poetic justice. we were denied victory in Sydney not by Aussies, but by umpires. Sydney was our moral victory. this has been proved in Perth. We are leading 2 to 1 and heading for 3to 1.

BIG NOSE-CUT TO RICKY PONTING
by govindrajantr thulsi on Jan 19, 2008 09:07 PM

In melbourne test Ponting commented that when indians can not win in melbourne they can't anywhere in australia, as melbourne is the only ground similar to indian pitches. Today it has become all myth that India Won Australia by 72 runs, RICKY PONTING DONT UNDERESTIMATE INDIANS DEAR! ALREADY IT WAS A REVOLUTION IN 1981, Australia won by Gavaskar team! KUDOS TO YOU ALL INDIAN CRICKETERS!

Dravid and Laxman
by kris on Jan 19, 2008 09:07 PM

Indians stopped Aus's 17th straight win.

Again Laxman and Dravid played the crucial roles.

Kudos to Pathan and inspiring Kumble

Costly Team Changes
by arpan nigam on Jan 19, 2008 09:06 PM

I think Australia paid the price for their forced team changes! Bucknor and Benson were seriously missed for them and they couldn't get any - c Benson b Bucknor dismissals !!!

However, they can take Rauf and Bowden to some Australian Pub tonight for some fun; so that they have proper team combination for Adelaide ;-)

Austarlia
by pravin gupta on Jan 19, 2008 09:04 PM

We won the match, but we must also realize that Australia is the only team in the world which has set a standard for themselves. Great teams of yester years like Windies and MCC have just withered away with no chance of revival in sight. I hope australia does not go the same way, and if does than thats the end of world cricket. Good luck India, Good luck austarlia for the next test.

In past.. Only team led by Kapil Ji was having fighting spirit & hunger for victory...
however People like Ravi Shastri always played for their records & tried to work for their personal records than team victory.

Kumble is definitelty a very astute Captain which he showed against Pakistan also.
We need Captain like him who carries whole team along with him unlike Dravid who was a poor captain and used Greg Chappel to break the Indian team.
A big slap on Kangaroos ,a good slap to Greg Chappel for messing up Indian team

In captaincy Ganguly was the one and only path-breaker and a strategist, who led the team to greatest heights with his sheer intelligence and shrewdness, in which Dravid was a BIG ZERO and Kumble is only a couple of months old in captaincy cannot be compared to the Greatest captain of India who led for 5 years!!! Howver this win may be compared to one of the better wins by India but the Aussies during the last tour were much more devastating (particularly in bowling) than this one!
