i agree with you when Dravid came at end movements and failed he was droped why cant the same thing happen with the Yuvraj. When Dhoni can support Yuvraj y cant he do the same with Dravid. Dravid should be back atleast for next series......

Be like a man

C'mon Dhoni, grow up to a man. Accept that you got 20-30 runs short. Accept that Sreesanth was nowhere near the target. Srilanka's runrate was 8 . They would have scored 195 in 24-25 overs.

Where is the opening patnership???????????
by Pradeep Malik on Feb 12, 2008 04:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dhoni keeps on saying about their youth player performing and winning matches for India by keeping Saurav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid out of side.
what they have done yet..NOTHING...
As SRI-LANKA played attacking game can't india play that kind of game. let it be first batting or chasing we always play to defend the lose and in that way we wins.
we never play for win..

Lets get off the mentality of blame game we were outplayed that's the fact we need to live with Lets stop going back to blaming every defeat to the exclusion of Rahul or Sourav . The focus should be on winning the tournament rather that focus on youthv/s experience or external factors .

Comments by Dhoni after Loosing the Match
by don on Feb 12, 2008 04:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Great Comments from Dhoni. So he thiks that his bowler could have stopped Srilanka for getting 195 in 29 overs, whereas they made 154 in just 19 overs. Come on man accept that they played on top of you.

I fully agree with u don....at the end of the day the best team wins...srilanka has played well today and they deserve victory...becaz defending this score was a big task for team batting second.....we should congratulate team lanka for this instead of searching for excuses.

Dhoni is a good Orator - but poor defender of failure
by S Shrikanth on Feb 12, 2008 04:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dhoni says "I don't think Sreesanth bowled badly. He was bowling in right areas but the openers were clearing the field most of the time."

Here is his figures today: 3-0-48-0

This is like you are hit for a six, but say that you would have bowled out the batsman, had the ball missed the bat.

I am really surprised by the biased media. Can you recall SYDNEY TEST. Lots of gaga about umpiring. What happen in MELBOURNE?? GILLY is victim of umpiring in first over and great??? SACHIN clearly nicked the ball and remained not out. So friends do not take moral high ground when you blame Aussies for their game man ship.

Yes thats true, which is why Saurav Ganguly is rightfully kicked out of the ODI Side. Long Live Aussies !

Exactly. We Indians make so much hue and cry when something wrong goes against us. But justify when other we are on wrong side.

SA umpire clearly paid a major role in India's victory over Australia. If a batsman like Gilly is given out wrong and cheaply, it has a huge impact on his team's batting. So, is when Tendulkar is not given out and he goes on to make 44 and Indian innings recovers.
