dhobi won 20-20 world cup by fluke
by on on Feb 12, 2008 04:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

india has lost 2 of the 3 20-20 games they played after world cup badly. today's game also i am including as it was like 20-20 only. this shows that dhobi's win in so-called world cup was a big fluke. anyone can win 20-20 on a gven day. no strategy all luck like gilli danda. anyway he thinks he is a hero after winning 20-20 but 20-20 itself is a stupid game with no strategy or cricketing skills required. dhobi has done pathetically abroad in test matches. its high time this idiot is shown the door.

Dhoni Blame UR ASELF RATHER THAN BLAMING RAIN OR THE REVISED SCORE....RATHER SAY UR BOWLERS R NOT CAPABLE TO BOWL ESPECIALLY "SREESHANTH" WITH HIS WOOPING PERFORMANCE WITH THE BALL GIVING 48 RUNS IN 3 OVERS WHICH NO OTHER BOWLER HAS DONE....

Correct. We Indians blame everything but the players for the defeat. At times it is poor umpiring, lack of sportsmanship, Duckworth-Lewis, the pitch, weather, etc. The excuses seem endless. Players are above any blame. Ridiculous!!!!!!

FOOLS

The person who asked about Yuvi failure is a utter fool or the greatest fool. Yuvi came to during when there was only 10 to 12 balls left. That guy expects him to hit a 50 during that time. He should be banned from watching cricket

Yuvi, if he is in form, would have been promoted up the batting order, when it was seen that only 29 overs were to be played.

Surprisingly he is way down..!!! Another ploy of not exposing Yuvi to the bowlers who can unravel his poor form ..!!!

Wake up Mr. Bhathire..!!

Actually Yuvi should have come much earlier, after two down, so that he might have dome some drumming of the Lankans.

No Mr. Ajay Bhathire... The person who asked about Yuvi is not a fool... The people who are closing their eyes to the fact that a supremely talented youngster like Yuvi has fallen prey to the glamour world, are actually the fools.

Yuvi's pathetic form is attributed solely to his off-field life... His focus is not cricket... It is more inclined towards the film heroines that are constantly falling onto his lap...

Yuvi has to stay focussed on cricket alone and that is the only way he can regain his form... Otherwise he should step aside, fulfill all his Page 3 ambitions first and then practice cricket and ONLY THEN should he aspire to regain his place in the Indian team....

Even Saurav and Dravid have had to prove themselves time and again... And remember Yuvi is nowhere compared to these stalwarts of Indian cricket... So let us be sane and allow other deserving youngsters like Raina to take his place rather than playing with 10 cricketers in every match (Yuvi has zero contribution in batting, bowling or fielding in the entire tour of Australia).....

What about our bowling? It is foolish to blame revised targets and weather. The same applies to the opponents as well.

Not to agree Dhonis point about the revised target.Sreesanth should be removed. He is useless and does not use his brains. According to him more pace will bring him wickets. Sorry to say but Sreesanth is to blame.

But sreesanth is a good dancer and natakbaaz. just look at his chimp style gimmicks when symonds hammers indian bowlers to boundaries.

what a sight...he sure is a joker.

Mr. Vengy !!! OPen you eyes
by mohan babu on Feb 12, 2008 04:41 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr. Vengsarkar, Its time to open your eyes. Every time india is batting I always counting there are only 9 players. Because sewag and yuvaraj out for single digit scores. These many chances to these players had been given to other players like kambli, I india could have another tendulkar.

I fully agree with u and because of this indifferent approach of our so called BCCI.we lost a great player like kambli who could have also given his contributions to this Indian team but we lost a great player like him I personally feel pity for the Board the way they damage a good ability and a great cricket brain.REALLY SORRY

Sreesanth plus lack of planning plus the low required total made India fail
by RAM CHANDRAN on Feb 12, 2008 04:41 PM  Permalink

Indian captain did n't plan things properly after scoring 195. He thought 195 is unchasable, but forgot that Sri Lankans have got explosive openers. Considering the fact that in a 20-20 match 150 is a normal score, India should have scored somewhere around 225-240 in a 29 over match. Initial bad bowling by Sreesanth (2 overs 34 runs) helped the Lankans to accelarate their run rate, he gave enough room for them to score runs; also failed to pick wickets. Adding to India's miseries, the revised target was something gettable. Sreesanth should learn to adjust according to the situations, should be able to generate more pace and bowl with a reasonable economical rate, otherwise he will end up as another Agarkar.

India must learn from their mistakes.
