India will lose both of its remaining matches to Australia and also lose one more match to Sri Lanka.....
Which means that India will end up with 12 points.......
Also, matches henceforth will be truly well contested so forget winning any bonus point against neone!!
Sri Lanka will beat Australia once....thus they will end up with 14 points....(6 already and a victory each over Aussie and India will take them to 14)
Australia will end up with 3 victories over Lanka, and 2 over India....so they will score 2 more victories over Lanka and 2 more over India...so they will get 16 points more!!
So, australia will end up with 23 points!!
Bhasmasur's final points tally :
Australia - 23 points Sri Lanka - 14 points India - 1 points
Australia and Sri Lanka will contest the final!!
So, don't get highly over optimistic after one fluke win over Aussies in Melbourne...
Sri Lanka proved today why we are a distant third best team in this competition...

Abe apne sir par haath rakh le aur mar ja
We lost because of the 2 poor overs by Sree. Bowled horribly and in a 21 over match 35 odd runs in 2 overs kills the fielding Team's chances. Feel bad for Rohit Sharma and Dhoni who gave us a very competitive score.
The highlight of course was Ishant Sharma's great Pace.
Indians bowled poorly esply Sreeshant and Sachin. Dhoni captained poorly by giving over to Sreeshant when Bhajji was bowling well-result-lankans tuk 14 in that over and narrowed chasing margin. Sachin was constantly bowling to leg and competing with himself for the best wide !!U cant win a one day, that too a 21 over match like this after bowling more than 2 extra overs(wide no ball) and giving so many extras.

So, all those fools who were shouting from the rooftops...now you realize the importance of RP Singh and Zaheer Khan??
Had both been there, India would have won easily!!
Sreesanth is a joker who talks a lot but delivers little...Munaf is neday a better choice than that useless Sreesanth!!
Dhoni is giving lame excuses. 195 in 30 overs is not at all a competitive score. It should be somewhere near 220 - 230. The batsman should have accelerated from at least half way (15th Over). At end of 20overs the runrate was around 5.8. Dhoniji, please stop giving these excuses..
Every one in the world knows side batting second is always at a disadvantage in case rain comes in second half. especially due to duckworh method. Now we have our captain saying we lost because we dint bat second. Seeing raining condition actuallt dhoni chose to Bat fully aware batting second will be tough call as the run rate will definitely be higher . After loosing he is turned arround !!! Indian style

I think you need to get your facts straight first before you accuse anyone. It was Srilanka who won the toss and they opted to field first. We need to understand that this is a very young team and they will need time.
It is beter to accept the defeat, our bowlers were bowling like super bowlers especially the great Sreesanth. When Jayasuriya was attacking, he was not able to change the bowling to defending styles rather he stick to spear the bowls all over the pitch. Pathan's bowling lacks threat to batsman. It was also just a matter of unluck, best wishes for indian team for next matches.

You are only half right, definitely age cannot be criteria, because most Australian players make their debut when they are past 27-29 years old!
But what matters is NOT CLASS, BUT PERFORMANCE!
Jayasuria does not have the class of Sachin, Lara, Dravid, Ponting, Kallis.. But more often, he performs for his team FAR BETTER than any of these classy players did or do for their own teams!

The top order hasn't done anything brilliant in any of the matches played in this series so far. But the later batsmen like Gambhir, Rohit Sharma and Dhoni have done really well.
Today, Sehwag went early and you can't fault him because that has been his way. There was no need for Sachin to go the way he did. Being a senior and classy bat, he should have batted more responsibly, may be for another 5-7 overs atleast. A total of 225 would have been more defendable.
