It should not be a serious injury and these type of injuries do happen with the players in and out of Match. There are still 4 days to go for Kolkata teat, I hope he will be there in Match.
Shoaib malik has shown some immaturity in his captaincy as the match was almost one sided and there was no struggle from Pakistan to win the match. A killing instinct was lacking in Pakistan team as we observe in them usually.
Malik needs some time to get matured as a captain, he is quiet young and has many years to from here and it seems that Pakistan wiull loose the series and when Shoaib will come on next tour he wioll be much more matured.
We, Indians maintain a very good record on home ground winning. We even challenged Australians in the ODI. Our condition suits very well for our players to win any team in India.

not really..infact, we tend to lose heavily n ODIs wen playing in india...while parallelly, we also learnt to win overseas..so its sort of give n take policy..it has to do with the oposition learning to adapt to our conditions and we still are at the same level wen we used to thrash the opposition...
I have seen in TV during ODI matches that some of the Pakistan Batsman are returning the ball to Indian Fielder while playing. The above gesture should be shown by all the players. Winning and Losing the matches is part of the game. But Sportmanship should be shown by all.

Dont think like that. Our players played very poorly, not upto their potential. Still we won the match. If we play to our potential in next two matches, it will be great boost for our Test team before travelling to Aus.

sab bahane hain...india se haarna is the worst thng that can happen to a pakistani....lost the one day series, now lost the first test also,,,very bleak hopes for winning the rest two...isliye...sab bahane hain,,,(Though i expected this from shoaib akhtar....but he bowled well in d frst test...so he will not do it now...)

Yeah you maybe right.The Paki Cricket Board must have told Malik that his time is UP and instead of being dropped, its better to FAKE an injury. Similar to the dramebazi which Indians do as well. Like Ganguly was dropped from one of the ODIs against Pak. This Paki team is really no where near the 80s and 90s teams but also our present team is not like our old Teams. So, both ways its beneficial to India. Chak De!

Pakistan will do well to persuade Younis Khan to take up captaincy.Shoaib Malik will struggle to hold his place if that were to happen.They should bring in Afridi in his place to be more competitive
