irfan must be 'messing' around with the ladies again in Australia - that is why he was not chosen for the first test..... he has a girlfriend in Canberra
Atleast Irfan improved his batting when his bowling wasn't going strong. Moreover he is courageous enough to claim that he enjoys his batting and like to score. Agarkar was quick to claim that he should not be considered as an allrounder.
Does anyone know when Balaji is expected to play again?. He bowled well in tandem with Irfan in Pakistan few years ago. I read he is nursing a injury.Hope he comes back soon. Ricky Ponting was being trapped lbw by him many a times , he was the best right hand bowler for india recently. Hope he recovers soon. Good luck to him and to Irfan !
We might blame the captain and the coach for using the wrong players in matches. We might blame them for poor strategy. But they are not alone responsible for what happens.
Sure, we sacked Greg Chappell and rahul dravid as captain.it would have silenced some people. But the end solution lies in showcasing the reality to the entire team.
They cannot take their job for granted. If you do not perform, you would be sacked. And if you are sacked, you would lose all the privileges which you gain when you represent the Indian team at the international level.
