I do not think we should be bothered too much about this. It is not as bad as what it was during the terrible 1990s when the moron aussies/SAs sledged everything that they had in mouth and when Sub continent people did it, it irked their bums. Precisely why Oz and that biggest moron Steve Waugh could not take Ganguly's power of fighting fire with fire and garbage with shit. If it goes too far, we should do the same thing which we did for mike denness. Toss those people out if they act too much. Let us show these people that it is India which is throwing them pieces of bread. If it is not for India, the whole game of cricket would have been dead. Prem Panicker had written it so much during the India's tour of SA in 1996 when Donald was spitting fire from his bottom for scoring of his bowling. These people are always famous for their mouths and not skill. It is not third umpires and match refrees that should be punished but the ICC. One simple way is by splitting the ICC. India can do it and we and the media should also cut the crap of using terms like father and son to distinguish ICC and India respectively.
i dont know why this fuss about bias in cricket. why should we worry about it. if our indian politicians can show bias against unreserved category for vote bank politics, why not foreigners and match referees against us. the problem lies with us.first we biased against dalits in ancient times and now politicians are reverse biasing unreserved class. oh! india is a wonderful country, we can show bias against any one. first we have to achieve equality in our country and then talk about bias against indians in international forum and international cricket. unless we achieve equality there is no need to worry if match referees biased against our cricketers. the message is simple first clean up our house and then talk about international bias.
i just want to ask the ICC and authorities, arent they blind in the matches in or out of india, to take action against Indian Cricket players and acting blind against the other. The case of Sourav Ganguly, L Balaji, V Sehwag etc. shows my statement true.
IF the senior players like Lara, slater etc can behave harsh to the players and even to the Umpires, what will be the state of the hot blodded youngsters. If the decision of the umpires on the ground have no value then why are they been there. the number of umpires can be reduced to one, the third umpire(excluding the DD's Fourth umpire). The Benefit of doubt is for all and tht is not a Legacy of any team or an individual.
ICC should be even liberal or more harsh equally in all cases to all teams.
match referee is supporting home team and ICC also supporting it its really redicullous who had given the bloody heal right to take the decision he is the worst player of teh worls
like india, like bcci, both are soft in nature, this weakish attitude of indian people will make them pay one day a heavy price for their forgiving nature, we indians when it comes to international politics or racisim are cowards, but when their is some domestic turbulance we stand up against or for the cause, henc people have started taking us for granted and will continue to do it if we don't change our stance.here dravid, chappell and the team manager all should stand against the match referee and sent a show cause notice for lara.oh! i am sorry i forgot indians themselves being corrupt (kiran more) how can blame somebody else.
it is a clear case of subcontinent -vs- the rest. by making srinath a match referee icc has ensured that here is an indian who is more english than the english, if one goes by his comments during the recent england series.
All are making the mockery of the game. After these incidents also if our Ambassors of Cricket do not know their values and importance they should leave cricket.
Rahul, being a great fan of yours I adore you, but you have failed in your leadership. Instead of joining and leading the fray you just put the white kerchief (declared the innings).
You have have eased the situation, but the same has given you a negative point also. Never treat it cricket to be gentlemans game, when the rest do not think so.
It all boils down to money. ICC and its appointees want to play the great levellers. Look at the money Indian cricketers are earning on and off the field. Compared to that poor West Indians are not getting enough to buy new shoelaces. Indian cricketers retire with great riches while west Indians have to look for jobs as bartenders or club singers when their time is up. If Sehwags and Gangulys are fined, it is so much dust off their pile. If a poor Collin is fined, he may have to fast for a week with his family. So just a tap on the knuckles or a kick in the ass will suffice. After all a reprimand is a reprimand. Have heart, yaar. Congratulate ICC on putting things in the right perspective.
It seems like ICC is against India, Indian players are always fined, but players of the other teams only gets warning. Lara should be clearly fined for his behavior with Dhoni, he dont have any rights to ask Dhoni to walk.
