about the match referee
by nitin jadhav on Jun 13, 2006 02:46 PM  Permalink

Over the past few years its always happened with Indian players that they have been fined without offering any concent.I think it's because Indian players are highly paid & referees dont bother in cutting some of their match fees.I dont think it's a right idea,it can cause in lowering players confidence.

I firmly believed that lara should have been sacked out of 2nd test.

Match Referee
by Sudarshan S on Jun 13, 2006 02:44 PM  Permalink

Its a matter of Economics. The next worldcup is in the WEST Indies and there's too much at stake for the ICC to take an active stance at this stage.

Get it- So LARA Can do Cartwheels down the pitch and everybody including ICC is only going to start clapping-

The Indians have always been docile- Maybe DADA would have reacted differently- But at the end of the day being a gentleman pays off and in the SPIjavascript:validate()

javascript:validate()RIT of the game Dravid did the right thing.

Match Referee against India
by Shailendra Tripathi on Jun 13, 2006 02:44 PM  Permalink

Time and again, the referee's have shown extreme bias against Indian players. These are not new incidents. The history is aplomb with such incidents. However, the most surprising is that BCCI is just busy in counting raining bucks.

every time it happens it happens against India, Australian can misbehave with any body, pakistanis can say anything and can still escape from the action.

BCCI
by Sukhen K Mitra on Jun 13, 2006 07:18 PM  Permalink
But BCCI is good at domestic politics and can act as a slave to a racist guy as long as their interest is not harmed. International arena is not a ballgame of these pigs... Pretty much worthless group of people... They can't stand even for a good cause. Wish them good luck.

Match Referee Against India?
by Deepak on Jun 13, 2006 02:43 PM  Permalink

There is'nt an iota of doubt that the Match Referee is against India. What's the point in harping about such issues every time it happens if the Indian Board do not take it up at the highest level and ensure justice. The more we keep quiet, such discriminatory decisons will continue to rise. At least there should be a body to which the Match Referee is answerable / accountable for such stupid decisions.

laras behaviour
by dinesh on Jun 13, 2006 02:42 PM  Permalink

It is universal fact that always people in power help wrong guy to show their muscle power.Victim face the music and that is what happened onm the fourth day of first test.

Like for nic eexample that whever there is accident on the road person doing mistake will be shielded by traffic police si so that he will be compensated. So the umpires involved feel that their vale will increase by supporting a person like Lara.L

I feel pity for poor Lara who has acieved so much in cricket sacrified hios credentials just for wicket of Dhoni.Does it mean he is frustrated at the performence of Dhoni for which he dint have any other answer.

West Indies Series ; Match Referee's role
by S.M.I.A. Zaidi on Jun 13, 2006 02:42 PM  Permalink

It is quite eveident that the match rerfree is showing partiality agianst Indians. The punishment to Sehwag for almost no fault of his and setting Brian Lara free though he took the law in his own hands and played as umpire, snatched ball from umpire's hand and ordered Dhoni to leave the field. These are the mistakes which in ICC Refree's view are quite normaland so no action !

Any sane person can see the partisan attitude of the Match refree except the ICC authorities.

Yes he is against India
by Mandar on Jun 13, 2006 02:40 PM  Permalink

Yes he is against India. Everytime this happens. India never fight back with ICC on these issues. I think the White people are jelous of Indian players' earning and hence they cut their money.20% cut in fee is nothing for Sehwag. He earns millions by advertising. In Lara Dhoni episode Dravid has not bothered to some out of the dressing room. If the players are least bothered why should we.
