BCCI should have raised objections to such differential judgements. In the case of Dhoni,ICCI should have penalised the umpires for not doing their duty ie giving decisions. Lara could have been reprimanded since his action was the result of the indecision of the umpires. All said and done the Refrees appear to be against the asian cricketing nations.This should be strongly pointed out by all asian cricket boards.
Since we do not protest at ICC meetings there is no one to take note of our voice. Our voice is lost in the din. Our representatives ICC do not show any enthusiasm even though the Icc's coffers are filled by us. Since it happens at the top at the ground level it is the same. We do not protest strongly and the rules are interpreted differently. Even the comemtators do the same, which also influences the umpires decisions
Its absolutly unfair & if you ask me ICC (as it is a toothless tiger) is trying to get back at India in whatever way possible & I think it's intentional. India is the ''MONEY'' bag in cricket these days & everyone knows it.The recent coup for the World Cup rights for 2011 itself suggested that.Teh Asian contingent bid pretty late & still walked away.The way I see it , the ICC may not last as an entity for too long & when it does split CRICKET will suffer.But then again the good old "WHITE'' days are over!!! ISN'T IT?
Match referee is against India he is favouring WI team This is not first time Aus.,N.land,Eng.,Wi, ignoring Asian countries For example Steve Bucnar,famous umpire he can not raise his Finger against Steve Waugh for LBW but he can give asian players LBW for outgoing balls
after reading the report i find the decisions biased and there was also a large no.of unjust decisions which have to be taken up by BCCI in the ICC forum for just treatment in the future.
Asusaul our players(shewag) are punished by ICC.punishment is always for indian crickters.This should be taken sereiously by BCCI positive steps should be taken to ensure that ICC doesnt jump into prejudice/mindset while dealing with any issues with indian cricketers in future.
West Indies used to be great team with great moral values. read the following examples.
1. Longtime back in a test at Cuttak, India fast bowler Micheal Holding refused to bowl after his first over becoz the pitch is uneven and might causes wounds to the batsman... he is such a gentleman.
2. King Richards called back madanlal after he given out. But the fielder said that he crossed the boundary line while catching. so, richards called back the madanlal. But unfortunately Now a days this spirit is gone forever in West Indies. Look at the recent Lara - Dhoni Incident? very embarassing. isn't it?
3. I think in 1989 world cup on quarter finals. pak VS West Indies. Last two balls remaining.. Wasim Jafer and Abdul qadir is batting.Courteny Wlash was bowling. The non straiker moved for the run before the cournty walsh bowled.If Walsh Wants, he can run out him.But the Mighty Gentlemen Mr. Walsh Just smiled and given the non striker a chance to bat again..Offcourse the Pakistan won the match and entered into Semi finals..But morally West Indians have won that match.... The Above incidents tell you how great were west indian cricket used to be.But now it's gone forever.
